Trafficking and modern slavery

About the course

This is an online, interactive safeguarding training course with voiceover for staff who may come into contact with anyone who may have been trafficked or is the victim of modern-day slavery.

The course includes definitions of human trafficking and modern-day slavery, recognising the warning signs of a victim in order to safeguard and support them. Recognise why organisations need to have a trafficking and modern-day slavery statement in order that the National Referral Mechanism can be started by a first responder.

This course has been developed by a former police officer that specialised in victim of Child Sexual Exploitation, many of which had been trafficked around the country.
