Safeguarding children in practice in football

An online and interactive safeguarding training course with voiceover, designed for anyone working directly with children and young people in a football environment. 

The course considers contextual safeguarding in a sports environment and therefore more beneficial to learners.

This course will cover:

• Understanding the historical context to current legislation. What are the lessons we have learnt from serious case reviews.
• Understanding the S47 process.
• The standards for safeguarding children in sport, how to report your concerns and what to do if you think someone has abused their position of trust.

The course has been developed by a National Safeguarding Panel member for Sports Resolution UK.
